· 3 min read · Théo Marchi

In short: How do you clean an LED face mask? Simple steps to wipe, store and recharge your red light mask so it stays hygienic and lasts longer.

How to Clean and Maintain Your LED Face Mask

A little care keeps your red light mask hygienic and working well for longer. Here is a simple maintenance routine.

After every session

  • Switch the mask off and let it cool for a minute.
  • Wipe the inside with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Dry gently and leave to air.

What to avoid

  • Never immerse the mask in water or use it in the bath.
  • Do not spray liquids directly on the LEDs.
  • Avoid harsh solvents or abrasive materials.

Charging and battery

Recharge with the Type-C cable that comes with the mask. A full charge takes about 2 hours on Lumino, for up to 100 minutes of use. Recharge before long storage.

Storage

Keep the mask in its box, dry and away from heat and direct sun. Store the cable with it.

Hygiene tips

Use the mask on clean skin and keep your hair tied back. Clean the strap if it gets dirty, following your manual.
